Everyone's skin is its own weather system, but tallow's fatty-acid profile is close to your skin's own oils, and most folks — including plenty with easily annoyed skin — find it absorbs cleanly. Start with a small amount on damp skin and see how yours likes it.

No — properly rendered tallow barely smells like much on its own. Ours is scented with whole vanilla beans, which reads soft and real rather than the sharp sweetness you get from a fragrance oil. Lavender flower, chamomile and calendula, and a latte version are all on the shelf if you want a different note.

Not at all. Tallow firms up cool and softens warm — it's fat, and fat has moods. It's fine anywhere between cellar-cool and summer-kitchen warm. If it fully melts in a hot car, pop it in the fridge; the texture will be denser than whipped, but everything good about it survives.

A pea-sized scoop really is enough, so a 4 oz jar lasts most people months rather than weeks. Keep dry fingers out of it and the lid on, and it'll keep beautifully.

We genuinely can't say — those are medical conditions, and we're a moisturizer, not a medicine. What we can tell you: our jars soften and comfort dry skin, our ingredient list is six items long and every one of them is on the label, and your dermatologist is the right person to ask about anything more. We'd rather under-promise than make a claim we haven't earned.

Worth knowing up front: our cream contains frankincense essential oil, so it isn't essential-oil free. As with anything you put on your skin during pregnancy, run the ingredient list by your doctor first — it won't take long to read.

We understand the question. Our tallow comes from grass-fed cattle raised for food — no animal is ever raised for skincare. Rendering the suet means more of each animal is used and less is wasted. Nose-to-tail, not more-of-everything.

Castor and jojoba oils are cold-pressed, the vanilla is whole vanilla bean rather than “vanilla fragrance,” and the frankincense is true essential oil. If it's ever in a jar, it's on the label.

Yes — every batch is small enough that one person renders, whips, jars, and labels the whole lot herself. There is no second shift and no co-packer.

We pack orders within 2–3 business days and ship from our kitchen. Most U.S. addresses see their jar 3–5 days after that. You'll get a tracking link the moment it's on its way.

In real heat waves we may hold orders over the weekend so nothing sits in a hot truck from Friday to Monday. If a jar arrives melted anyway, it's still perfectly good — chill it overnight — but if the texture bothers you, tell us and we'll sort you out.
